Sarova Hotels, Kenya’s leading hospitality group, has appointed Land & Marine to publish its three-times-a-year magazine Sarova Spotlight. First issue of the new in-room magazine will launch 1 October 2010.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has appointed Land & Marine Publication to produce a new and comprehensive Kenya conversation guide. The publication is due for completion end-June 2010.
The Kenya Golf Marketing Alliance (KGMA) will work with Land & Marine Publication to produce Kenya’s first-ever promotional golf publication which will be completed to coincide with the annual International Golf Travel Market to be held in Valencia in November.
The Tourism Council of Zambia (TCZ) has reappointed Land & Marine Publication to produce a new edition of “Destination Zambia” for completion in time for Indaba 2010.
Nairobi-headquartered Sarova Hotels has announced that it has chosen Land & Marine Publication to design and produce a three-times-a-year in-room magazine entitled “Sarova Spotlight”. The first issue will be launched 1 October 2010.

Land & Marine Publications will produce a second edition of the Uganda Hotel Guide in time for launch at this year’s World Travel Market (WTM) show in London in November.
The second edition follows the success of last year’s launch edition.

Land & Marine Publications will in September commence work on a new hotel and tourism guide for the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
The new publication will be launched at ITB in Berlin in March 2010 and is being produced in conjunction with the Rwanda Hotel Association and the Rwanda Tour Operators’ Association.
This is Land & Marine’s first publishing project in Rwanda.

The Pubs, Entertainment & Restaurant Association of Kenya (PERAK) has today confirmed the appointment of Land & Marine Publications to produce a new entertainment guide to Kenya.
The new magazine-style guide will be launched in December/January and will be the first publication of its type that really sells Kenya as a fun destination.
Kenya has many fine restaurants, great night spots and lively bars that remain largely unvisited by tourists traditionally focused on a safari and/or beach holiday. The new guide aims to change this situation.
PERAK is a new client for Land & Marine and adds to a wide range of clients for the company in Kenya.

Ecotourism Kenya has chosen Land & Marine Publications to produce Kenya’s first eco tourism guide. The publication, which will be completed in October, will be printed using the very latest environmentally friendly paper – that means 100% recycled and chlorine free. This will be Land & Marine’s first out-and-out eco guide, but we have been offering an environmentally friendly paper option to clients (at additional cost) for some time.

The Durban-headquartered Cruise Indian Ocean Association (CIOA) will use Land & Marine Publications to create a major new brochure promoting southern and eastern Africa’s coastline as a cruise destination. The brochure will be launched in September to coincide with CIOA’s participation at a cruise shipping industry show in Hamburg.

Havenbeheer Suriname has chosen Land & Marine Publications to design a new port handbook that will be produced in October 2009. The launch of the publication will coincide with the Caribbean Shipping Association AGM to be held in Paramaribo.

The Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers & Caterers (KAHC) and Land & Marine Publications have jointly signed a new three-year contract. The contract will provide for new editions of the Kenya Hotel, Restaurant & Entertainment Guide in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The previous three-year contract between KAHC and L&M expired with the completion in November 2008 of the 2009 edition.
KAHC was set up in 1944 and is the voice of Kenya’s hospitality industry.

Land & Marine Publications continues to develop its activities in Africa and expects, the coming weeks, to complete contracts for three major publishing projects in East Africa. News of these will be announced as soon as contracts are signed.
Land & Marine currently has clients in: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Lesotho, Ghana and The Gambia.

Lesotho contract I 25th November 2008
The Lesotho Hotel & Tourism Association has agreed to use Land & Marine to produce a new magazine and eBook to promote the Southern African nation's fast-growing hospitality sector.
Lesotho is a unique African destination wholly surrounded by South Africa and offering a wealth of adventure-type holidays such as hill walking and horse riding. New properties are being added to Lesotho's hotel and lodge stock and these investors recognise that the country has tremendous potential as a off-beat destination.
The new publication will be completed in May 2009 and launched at the Indaba travel trade show in Durban the same month.

Belize Hotel Guide Launch I 12th August 2008
The Belize Hotel Association (BHA) at a Special Meeting held by the Belize Tourist Board, today launched the first ever Belize Hotel Guide. Mr. Kenrick Theus, President of BHA stated that the Belize Hotel Guide is a “crowning achievement for BHA for 2008”. Mr. Theus stated that some of the Hotel Guides were retained in London by the publishing company for distribution at WTM 2008, IBTM in Germany and FITUR in Spain.
The Belize Hotel Guide lists all of the members of the BHA and is filled with additional information on Belize and the different activities and attractions that Belize has to offer to its visitors. The Belize Hotel Guide will also be used as an additional marketing tool at trade shows and plans are already under way to have a major presence at the Travel Mart Latin America trade show in the next four weeks in Quito, Ecuador.
BHA’s President then presented a copy of the Belize Hotel Guide to Mrs. Tracy Panton, Director of the Belize Tourist Board, who accepted it on behalf of the Minister of Tourism. Copies were also made available to all those who were present at the meeting.

La nueva publicación estará completa en noviembre de 2008 y será lanzada en la próxima edición de World Travel Market (WTM) que se llevará a cabo en el mismo mes. Como su nombre lo sugiere UHOA es un grupo de propietarios de diversos hoteles más que una Asociación de Hoteles tradicional. Esta guía será la primera publicación de UHOA que busca promocionar Uganda como un destino de safari, de conferencias internacionales y de aventura.
